Stowe Mountain Lodge, Stowe's newest luxury resort hotel, and the new Spruce Base Camp are open for their very first winter. In celebration of the revitalization of the "Ski Capital of the East," Stowe Mountain Lodge is offering three winter packages that take advantage of the hotel's status as the only ski-in/ski-out luxury accommodations in the area.

The Winter Wildlife Adventure Package offers two nights' lodging, one-hour guided snowshoe tour, breakfast each morning, hot chocolate and trail snacks, and more, for $509 per night. The package is available through March 31.

The adventure builds on Stowe Mountain Lodge's location, surrounded by 2,000 acres of protected conservation land and a 6,400 yard Audubon International Signature golf course.

The Ski the East Package offers two nights lodging and two two-day lift tickets, for $483 per night, a 10 percent savings over Stow Mountain Lodge's best rates. It is available through March 31.

The Roll Out of Bed and Onto the Slopes Package offers two nights' lodging, two two-day lift tickets, breakfast for two each morning, and more, for $559 per night. The package is available through March 31.

The package is designed to remove the hassle from family skiing. The Lodge's Alpine Concierge will contact guests a few weeks prior to arrival to offer assistance with all the details, including securing lift tickets for the entire family, purchasing lessons in advance, arranging rentals, or storing skis and snowboards. The concierge will even arrange for groceries to keep in your room.

The new Stowe Mountain Lodge is the centerpiece of Spruce Peak at Stowe, a new $400 million alpine neighborhood that has been in planning and development stages for the past 16 years.
