"A boutique festival style with a winter wonderland concept will bring chic, contemporary and occasionally slightly crazy entertainment into this pretty Alpine village loved by Royals and skiers alike." Said a statement from the organisers.

The Festival will include phenomenal live music, hot DJ's, cabaret style street performers, the sun ("yes our hotline to the heavens reveals it WILL shine" say the still enthusiastic organisers), gourmet food stalls, high end pop up stores, A list stars and plentiful bars. All set against the unique backdrop of the 300km of pistes running across the Davos‐Klosters mountains, and just ten minutes from Davos itself, Europe's highest town.

Duran Duran have sold just over 80 million records worldwide and are famous fusing pop music, art, technology and fashion with a unique sense of style and confidence.

Their music videos for chart‐topping tracks such as ‘Hungry Like the Wolf' and ‘Rio' were filled with exotic locations, beautiful girls and stunning special‐effects and their second album ‘Rio' became a multiplatinum worldwide hit.. ‘A View To A Kill' earned the group another first when their song became the only Bond theme tune to make it to #1, an accomplishment that is still unrivalled today. Whilst Princess Diana declared Duran Duran to be her favourite band - a fitting connection to Klosters, the winter resort which is an annual holiday favourite for British royal family members.

The atmosphere will be upmarket, exciting and family friendly ‐ attracting a discerning, international and stylish audience, with a touch of British understatement. There will also be a rather lively Apres ski and after dark entertainment in the form of a truly unique nightclub being built on location.

The Festival will be staged from noon on Saturday January 21st until "really rather late," at the Altitude Grounds, Auf Christli's, Klosters, Switzerland. Tickets are 85 CHF for general admission or 275 CHF for VIP admission. Tickets on sale through: www.davosklosters.ch/Phone +41 (0)81 415 21 21

Further live music and entertainment details of Altitude will be released over the forthcoming weeks. This unique winter event is connected to the spectacular sport of snow polo, with the Klosters Snow Polo tournament running alongside it.
