Lost Trail Improves Terrain Parks

Lost Trail features two terrain parks-each with a different style. Lost Trail features two terrain parks-each with a different style.

Lost Trail Powder Mountain, Mont., has improved their two terrain parks once again this winter. One features more natural bumps and jumps while the other is the spot to show off for everyone in the base area.

You can't miss Frontcountry Park. It sits right above the day lodge and in full view of everyone riding Chair 1. Here's where riders and freeskiers can find the big air and monster features to show off impressive feats.

Glide down to the bottom of Powder Bowl to find Powder Park. Natural jumps here work for beginners, but you'll also find plenty of boxes, tables, kickers, and other features to play on.

Upcoming park events include the Slopestyle Slam on Feb. 21 and the Second Annual Skiesta Splash Down and Cadillac Giveaway Jib-off Rail Jam. Both are open to all ages of skiers and snowboarders-even Fossils who want to compete in the 30- year-old and over category. Register in the lodge before noon on the day of the competition. The entry fee is $10. Helmets are not required, but strongly recommended.

You can check out all the latest on Lost Trail's parks online. You can even vote on what features you like the best and join forums to talk about what you'd like to see in the park.
