The three-star Hotel Brandl owned by the Holzer Family in San Candido in the Alta Pusteria Valley is offering special prices from end of February.

The hotel is offering a package called Sun and Snow Weeks available over five weeks from 28 February to 4 April.

The hotel is offering seven-night stays on half board with lift ticket for €440 per person in a double room.

San Candido is part of the Alta Pusteria region that is centred on the historic South Tyrolean resort of Sexten, the resort's neighbour. The region is set in spectacular Dolomitic scenery, long popular with visitors from home and abroad. The peaks around form a huge natural sundial, and it's easy to ski farther afield thanks to affiliations within the Hochpusertal region and the DolimitiSuperski Pass options.

The Dolomiti Superski ticket remains the world's largest fully interchangable lift pass covering around 1200km of trails and some 500 lifts above more than 50 Italian villages. The system was a pioneer of computer lift passes more than 20 years ago when loudly bleeping plastic cards were inserted in turnstiles to open the gates at any one of these dozens of resorts.

In recent years computer technology has allowed for large ski pass areas to be put together in Austria and France that rival Dolomiti Superski in size, but as yet all have some usage restrictions, such as they are only valid from six days or they can only be used in one resort on one day of their duration.
