The fifth and final stage of the Freeride World Tour 2009 is being held in Verbier, as part of the 14th edition of the Nissan Xtreme Verbier. The world's best freeriders will head to the legendary Bec des Rosses in Verbier, which rises to an altitude of 3222 metres, to demonstrate their talent March 20. Spectators will gather in Les Gentianes to see one of the most impressive extreme sports events of the year.

There will be an opportunity to race with champions in the Verbier High Five by Carlsberg, Apr. 4. This event is open to downhill skiers and snowboarders and features a giant slalom, a boarder cross, a mogul run, a fun triathlon, and a parallel slalom.
