Skiers and snowboarders who are looking to make the most of the great snow conditions in the French Alps and Pyrenees need look no further than tour operator Lagrange. The self-catering specialists to France are offering discounts of up to 30 percent on a variety of their ski residences. Savings also can be made by pre-booking lift passes and equipment as the prices have been fixed since the start of the season - before the Euro gained in strength. This means the rates are particularly good when compared to booking directly in resort.

Lagrange is offering 30 percent off selected apartments in their Lagrange Prestige residence in Champagny-en-Vanois for departures 7 February. Champagny is a traditional village ski resort, ideally located for quick and easy access into the main La Plagne ski domain.

Prices start from 587 pounds per week for a two-bedroom apartment accommodation only - a saving of 239 pounds from the brochure price. Lagrange also is offering 20 percent off selected apartments in Argentière, only 8km from Chamonix, for departures on 7 February saving 120 pounds.

Pre-booked lift passes and ski hire offer substantial savings on in-resort rates. Ski hire starts at 59 pounds per person in Champagny or Argentière, compared with around 75 Euros in resort, while a La Plagne lift pass is 162 pounds through Lagrange, compared with 203 Euros in resort.

Lagrange, as self-catering ski specialists to France, features one of the widest ranges of resorts across the French Alps, Pyrenees, Massif Central, and Vosges. The 86 resorts in their programme range from the large and well-known, through to more unusual and traditional villages, such as those featured above. There is accommodation to suit all budgets and tastes, from simple studios and apartments to luxury apartments and self-catered chalets.
