Meribel has introduced a series of new features this winter season, including a new gondola lift and snowpark, as well as an extension of the town's luxury spa facilities.

There are 54 new six-seater cabins for the Tougnete 1 Gondola Lift. The cabins have new anti-vibration technology which works like a suspension system, giving a greater level of comfort. The lift has a speed of five metres per second and a capacity of 1500 passengers per hour.

The Moon Park also has been totally reconstructed in its new site on the old Grive piste. The park offers new school riding, fun areas, and a snowpark. Beginners can now learn to ski in complete safety with the Méribel-Mottaret Minipass. They can access wide gentle slopes by using the Chalets gondola, the Combes and Arolles chairlifts, the Sittelle and Doron draglifts as well as the l'Ourson lift for €12 per day.

The Fitness and Wellbeing Area at the Olympic Centre recently has undergone expansion and now also features a spa with Turkish baths, saunas, hot tubs, and a massage area. As well as massages and treatments, this new area offers the latest equipment: a massaging chair and three massaging beds, a relaxation room with essential oil and a balneotherapy bath, and a relaxation area with a herbal tea bar offering panoramic views over Le Mont Vallon. A further 300 square metres also has been added to the centre with the recent completion of a gym, comprising a weights room, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, as well as a dance room.
