Whitefish Mountain Resort has put together a lodging and lift ticket package that can save you some dollars on your ski trip between now and the end of this winter's season. You'll also be able to hit the lifts on days when lift lines are small and avoid the weekend crowds.

The 40/40 package gives you 40 percent off your accommodations and adult lift tickets for $40. The package requires a booking of at least four nights at the resort and applies to Sunday through Thursday night stays only. The package's lift tickets are valid for skiing Monday through Friday only.

Accommodations for this package may be in standard or deluxe condominiums in the upper village at the mountain. Standard condos include properties such as Edelweiss, a couple-minute walk to the lifts. Deluxe options apply to newer condos in ski in/ski out lodges such as Morning Eagle.

All rates for the 40/40 package are quoted per person, per night. One-bedroom standard condos start at $92.50 with double occupancy; upgrading to a deluxe condo raises the rate to $112. Two-bedroom with quad occupancy rates start at $77.50 for standard condos and $85 for deluxe. Three-bedroom deluxe condos for six people start at $80.
