Austria's largest ski region, the Skiwelt, offers half-priced lift tickets to women every Wednesday during the ski season now that the Christmas and New Years holiday period is over.
The region, which recently increased its published area size from 250 to 279km (175 miles), charges women the discounted ‘Ladies Day' price when they buy in resort on the day.
The half price ticket costs € 19, the same as the child price.
