The Waterville Valley Nordic Center has a winter-long program of savings for cross-country skiers.
Nordic skiers over 50, also known as the Silver Streaks, will meet every Wednesday in 2009. The cost is $65 for the season not including a daily trail pass or season pass. With Nordic rentals, the cost is $130. Social events and special clinics add to the fun. Daily cost is $19 for the program and a trail pass or $39 with rentals. On Tuesdays Nordic skiers can buy 1 all day ticket and get a second day trail pass free on any non-holiday Thursday.
The resort is offering a Nordic Midweek Getaway for $99 per person, and a Nordic Town Square Getaway for $69 per person per night. Both are midweek, Sunday through Thursday, but the former includes a $50 dinner voucher good at Town Square restaurants.

The Waterville Valley Nordic Center is located in Town Square, hub of activity for the resort village with indoor ice skating, horse drawn sleigh rides, specialty shops, restaurants and entertainment. The Nordic Center is open 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily with a retail shop, classic and skate rentals and adult and kids lessons. Daily trail passes are $18 or $13 for juniors and seniors. Skiers receive $2 off trail passes if they purchase them online 48 hours in advance.
