The first special offers have been published for February ski holidays in VallNord, Andorra.

A five night stay in the Ordino Valley in the three star Aparthotel La Neu is available for 320.95 Euros, including a five day VallNord Lift pass.

The offer is available from 15 to 20 February (half-term school holidays) or from the 22 to 27 February.

The Aparthotel La Neu features apartments for two to six people and are 50 to 70 square metres in size. Apartments are cleaned daily and sheets and towels are included.

The apartments have free wi-fi Internet access and safety deposit boxes.

The complex features a fully equipped gymnasium, laundry service, TV lounge, a children's play room, and a ski deposit room. Half board is available at additional costs and pets are welcome.

VallNord, Andorra's second largest ski area, has invested more than 10 million euros in improvements and new services this season. There's a new six seater detachable chairlift in Arinsal, one of the area's three ski centres.

Heavy snow in November and December has given the resort the best base in years, and the resort has also spent on more snowmaking. So there's now guaranteed snow thanks to the new network of snow cannons

Speed riding is a new activity on offer in Arcalís, another of the three VallNord ski areas, and there has been a remodelling of the slopes and area for freestyle in all the sectors.

Other activities include snowshoe routes, snowmobile circuits (one for children), dog sledding, ski biking, panoramic flights, airboarding, and paragliding.
