Schweitzer Resort has fired up its night skiing. Pay just $8 for night skiing lift tickets to Schweitzer Resort. Tickets are regularly $10, but why not start the New Year right by saving guests a couple of bucks? The discount day comes courtesy of the resort's "Own the Night" series which allows non-profit organizations to sell discounted lift tickets to the public.

Fifty percent of the proceeds go directly to the organization selling tickets. Discounted tickets are not available at the resort. Call for discounted night tickets to 208- 263-9555.

Whether you spend $10 or $8, each Friday and Saturday night from 3-8 p.m., rip it up off of the Basin Express high-speed quad and the Musical Chairs double. Night access is also available to the Stomping Grounds Terrain Park, where you can jib on all sorts of features.

Skiing, by the way, isn't the only thing to do under the night lights. Hermit's Hollow Tubing Center is open for tubing sessions, the dining room at Chimney Rock is open, you can try the Beer and Wine Tasting at the Mojo, or shop in the Village.

Night skiing is fun to do for the whole family and makes for a different kind of skiing or snowboarding experience.
