Chestnut Mountain Offers New Midweek Specials

Chestnut Mountain is offering a bunch of midweek specials to entice skiers and riders onto the slopes. All of its runs are cut through a rocky bluff that sits high above the Mississippi River offering scenic views and great terrain for the lower Midwest.

It's Two-fer Tuesdays when you can get two all-day lift tickets for the price of one every Tuesday throughout the season. It's the Great Escape Special on Wednesday. You get a lift ticket, lunch, and a cocktail for $40, or a lift ticket, rental equipment, a lesson, lunch, and cocktail for $50.

Being in school can pay off on Thrasher Thursdays. Students from grade school through college pay just $25 for an all-day lift ticket, or $40 for a lift, lesson, and rental equipment every Thursday, all season long,. For those that don't want to or can't skip school that day, you can get the same packages from 4-9 p.m. for $23 and $35 respectively. College students will need a current ID.

Fantastic Fridays and the Friday Night Rail Jam also take place all season long, and it's just $25, starting at 4 p.m., for a lift ticket. Slopes remain open until midnight, and it's only a $5 registration fee for the Jam that starts at 7 p.m.
