It's billed as the Super Bowl of women's winter getaways, and it's held the same weekend. The Women's Winter Tour, held each year on Super Bowl weekend, has been a celebration of women, winter, and chocolate for well over a decade. It takes place Jan. 30 - Feb. 1, 2009. Attendance in past years has been well over a thousand like-minded women who want to experience being spoiled, enjoy one of northern Michigan's premier winter resorts, and enjoy winter on snow.

A two-hour snowshoe tour of Crystal's Legacy Art Park will take place Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. Clinics will be taking place during the afternoon. A chocolate tasting event will take place that night, followed by dancing into the wee hours of the night with music provided by the Fabulous Horndogs, a rhythm and blues band. Lifts open an hour early, at 8 a.m. Sunday just for women signed up for the tour to enjoy fresh snow all by themselves. The Winter Tour, with great food, wine, and chocolate stops along the trail, takes place from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. It's all about fun and camaraderie.

Crystal will be offering special lodging packages for attendees over the weekend as well as a $99 Crystal Spa special, which includes a choice of two of the following: a 25-minute massage, 25-minute facial, 50-minute manicure, or 50-minute pedicure.
