The Colorado Rockies have been plastered, inundated, swamped, buried or whatever appropriate verb you wish to use with its famed light and dry in recent weeks.

In other words it's been a powder pig's paradise.

Steamboat, whose Champagne powder snowfields even have been trademarked, is one such place.

Same goes for Copper Mountain.

Winter Park, too.

These three resorts, which lie in a rough triangle about an hour apart from one another, with Steamboat in the north, Copper Mountain to the south, and Winter Park to the east, have decided share the wealth and have come up with a unique - and very consumer friendly - lift ticket deal they call the "Pow Pow Platter."

The Pow Pow Platter provides one day at Copper Mountain, one day at Steamboat, and one day at Winter Park for a total cost of $99. That's $33 a day at each resort, where the daily lift ticket price hovers around $80.

The Platter, which is a photo ID pass, is unrestricted - i.e., no blackout dates -- and days do not have to be used consecutively. One ticket is valid for one day at each resort.

Pow Pow Platters will to be available while supplies last or until Jan. 31, whichever comes first. Platters may only be purchased online or by calling 866 763-5958. Platters must be purchased 48-hours in advance and may be redeemed at any resort.
