Nassfeld, in Austria's southerly province of Carinthia, is offering a deal with a difference, on a week-long package the resort has available from mid-March.

The Top Hit package includes seven nights' accommodation and a six day regional TopSki pass and a 20 percent reduction on lessons by the local ski school Sölle.

However, what makes this package more appealing than most for advanced skiers, is the inclusion of VIP ski rental - the best gear available and a two-hour ski guiding session with a local guide on the Sunday of the weekend you arrive.

The package price varies depending on where you stay and which dates. The lowest cost option is just €395 for a stay in an apartment during the last week of the season from 11 - 18 April.

At the other end of the scale, a half board stay in a four-star special hotel (the highest grading in Italy) over Easter week or from March 14 - 21, 2009 costs €860.

Other options include bed and breakfast in a guest house (also from €395), half board in a three-star hotel (from €510 - 620) or half board in a normal four-star hotel (from €570 - 710).

Children three three and younger sharing a room with parents are free, children aged 3 - 12 sharing their parents room pay half price and children aged 13 to 16 receive a 20 percent discount.
