VallNord has released a wide range of accommodation specials into the New Year, with the first offers for January announced.

The offers range from two nights in a basic hotel through to five nights in a three-star hotel. The common factor in all offers is that they include a VallNord lift pass for the duration of your stay.

Typical is a five-night, five-day stay in the three-star Hotel F&G La Cabana on half board (breakfast and dinner) with VallNord lift pass lift pass priced at 241.85 Euros.

Children aged two and under stay free in a room with two adults, children aged 3 - 5 pay 162.50 Euros when sharing a room with two adults, and children aged 6 - 12 years pay 215.63 Euros sharing a room with two adults.

VallNord is one of the two ski areas in Andorra, sharing the principality's skiing with neighbouring GrandValira.

VallNord is made up of three ski areas, two of them lift-linked.  Until the 2000/01 season, Pal and Arinsal were two separate resorts and, of course, they remain two separate villages. However, for that season, the two resorts and ski areas were linked and both resorts began to market themselves jointly.

This was followed by another marketing merger, this time with the Arcalis ski area (also known as Ordino). Together, the ski areas became known as VallNord. They are the latest of many resort mergers in Andorra so that the country which once had 10 or so fragmented ski areas, now officially has just two ski resorts. But, big ones they are.
