Santa Claus will be quite the busy man about Utah this Christmas when he hits all three Park City resorts. He gets a hop on the action Dec. 23 at The Canyons when he shreds the slopes delivering candy and treats to all the good boys and girls. Look for Santa at the Flight of The Canyons gondola, as well as throughout the entire resort, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. through Dec. 25.

But not to worry, he'll have time to stop into Park City Mountain Resort, Dec. 24. While you're hunting for Santa, enjoy holiday music and free hot beverages and cookies on the plaza at sunset. Then watch the Ski and Snowboard School wind down PayDay trail for a traditional torch light parade. The festivities are free.

Santa Claus also has time to visit Deer Valley Resort Dec. 24. He descends on the Snow Park Lodge area from 9-11 a.m. Santa cruises up to the Silver Lake Lodge at noon and leaves the resort around 1:30 p.m. Guests are invited to bring a camera and have their picture taken with Santa.

One of the highlights of Deer Valley's holiday season is the annual torchlight parade where Deer Valley's ski instructors light up flares and dazzle watchers from the Snow Park Lodge with their ability to ski in sync with each other. The parade takes place Tuesday, Dec. 30, at dusk (approximately 6 p.m.). The parade takes place on Big Stick ski run on Bald Eagle Mountain and is best viewed from the upper deck of Snow Park Lodge, where complimentary hot cider and cookies will be served.
