Whistler Heli-Skiing kicked off its 28th season offering four unique packages. The packages target different skill levels as well as offer an escalating number of drops.
You don't even need powder experience to join their Classic Experience. The package, which costs $750 per person, is designed for intermediate to advanced skiers and completes three runs.
The Elite Adventure, which costs $835 per person, targets expert boarders and skiers who want to ski only four runs. The Ultimate Excursion, which ups the number of runs to six and moves quickly, costs $1,070 per person, but more runs may be added on for more cost. The company also offers their Private Packages costing $6,995 for a four-person group of intermediate or advanced skiers to rack up as many runs as they can with 1.5 hours of flying time.
"With 432,000 acres of terrain and heli-ski runs up to 9,000 feet, we are able to find good early season powder for all skiers and riders," said Doug O'Mara, Managing Director of Whistler Heli-Skiing. "We'd also like to remind our American guests that the exchange rate now means your dollar will be 25 percent stronger than last year. Every activity in Whistler will be an extra value."
British Columbia is home to 90 percent of the world's heli-skiing because of the sheer vastness of wilderness and abundance of powder. Whistler Heli-Skiing's regular drop spots include 173 glaciers and 475 runs.
