Kitzbuhel's Eight-Passenger Chairlift Opens

The new Kitzbuhel lift is fitted with a weatherproof cover and heated seating, and capacity has been more than doubled on the route from 1,300 to 3,255 people per hour. The ascent will be quicker, too, taking only 4.87 minutes instead of nine previously. New snowmaking equipment will also be in use on the Griesalm if required – although not so far.
