Killington Has Array Of Deals, Events For Holidays

There's lots going on at Killington, Vt., for the holiday season.

A Three-Day Killington Pre-Christmas Special for guests arriving Dec. 21 for three nights' lodging and three days of skiing starting at $86 per person per night.

Killington New Year's First Tracks Ski & Stay Package for guests arriving Jan. 1 for three nights, starting at $134 per person per night for lodging and skiing.

Killington heads into Christmas with several holiday festivities, inclulding the 5th Annual Vermont Holiday Festival Dec. 18 to 20, where more than 100 decorated trees, available for raffle, will be on display in the Killington Grand Resort Hotel. Santa Claus will be on hand with a satellite workshop where children can help make toys for Christmas Eve. Sleigh rides are available through the weekend.

Killington also offers the Killington Express Card, a direct-to-lift card that offers $20 off Sunday through Friday lift tickets and $10 off early and late season and regular season weekend lift tickets, and $10 off at Pico Mountain's lift ticket windows.

The card costs $24, is linked to a credit card, and is scanned and debited automatically at the lifts.

Killington also has a Countdown Card which offers 15 percent to 20 percent savings off regular lift ticket rates. The card is purchased in six- or 10-day increments.
