Jeff Leich of the New England Ski Museum brings word that the annual catalog is available both in print form and online.
The catalog offers a nifty array of gifts that include posters, books, jewelry, china, calendars, and Christmas tree ornaments.
The New England Ski Museum is located at the base of the Cannon Mountain Tram, and can be reached online or at (800) 639-4181.
NELSAP, the New England Lost Ski Areas Project, is offering its annual calendar of lost ski areas, in two versions. One is based on the Lost Ski Areas of the White Mountains. The other is a more general calendar featuring rare images of lost ski areas in New England and eastern NY state. Calendars are available online.
Jeremy Davis, founder of the Web site that has attracted a rabid following of loyalists, has just published a book on the Lost Ski Areas of the White Mountains, available online.
Skiers and riders also often hike, although they do enjoy those chairlifts. The Appalachian Mountain Club has a new version of the White Mountain Guide Online, a Web-based service for owners of the 100th anniversary edition of the AMC White Mountain Guide, the last word on White Mountain trails.
The cost for an annual subscription with unlimited access is $12 per year for AMC members and $15 per year for non-members. A free trial offers an opportunity to try out the service before subscribing.
Gloves, goggles, and socks also make good stocking stuffers.
