At Telluride Ski Resort, the tagline for early-season ticket sales might as well be “the more the merrier”—and the less expensive, too.

Telluride’s 4Pass program cuts the cost of a season pass for the southwest Colorado resort by 33 percent off the regular $1,298 early-season price tag. To get the $998 deal, skiers and riders must sign up as a foursome before Oct. 28. Once all four “friends” have been identified, the passes are released to a “team leader.” Ticket holders do not have to ski together, but only one pass can be purchased per person.

Individual adults (19-64 years of age) can purchase season-long tickets for $1,298—one-third of the regular price—until Oct. 26. The resort also offers early-season deep discounts for teens, college students, children, toddlers and seniors.

Telluride season passes for adults and college students include three days of free skiing or riding at Taos Ski Valley, plus discounts on skier services, lodging, food and beverage, and retail purchases.

The 2,000-acre resort with a 4,425-foot vertical drop also offers the Telluride Card that cuts 20 percent off the regular day ticket price, as well as both six- and 10-day passes.
