Moonlight Basin, tucked in one of Montana's snowiest regions, prepares to launch its winter season this weekend. November snows set the resort well on its way to opening and climbing toward its annual average of 400 inches of snowfall.
The resort is scheduled to open for skiing and snowboarding Friday, Dec. 12. Its spa is ready for massages and wraps, as it opened for the season last week. Moonlight is a place where you can revel in 1,900 acres of snow by day, hit the spa for some pampering, and bask in the luxury of its lodges by night.
East-West Resorts manages all of Moonlight's lodging properties, including cabins, private homes, penthouse and luxury suites, and townhomes. These accommodations all come with kitchens, gas fireplaces, and private hot tubs.
Moonlight Basin and their lodging partner East-West Resorts have teamed up to create a ski and stay package for their winter visitors this year. The package, based on quad occupancy and requiring five nights of lodging, costs $92 per person per night.
The package includes four days of Moonlight Basin lift tickets per person and accommodations in a ski-in/ski-out cabin. Some blackout dates apply. Call (866) 934-5085 for reservations for the package.
