British Columbia's Panorama Mountain Village, which is scheduled to open its lifts to the public Dec. 12, offers visitors a way to save money on holiday bookings. You can get 15 percent off your package for winter holidays.

The offer is good for Christmas or New Year's, from Dec. 22 to Jan. 3. You can take part in the Christmas Eve service on the Summit or watch fireworks on New Year's Eve. The offer is also good for Family Day Weekend, Feb. 13-16.

The lift and lodging packages must be based on a four-night minimum stay in gold level accommodations. Gold level lodging with a three-star rating includes studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom condominiums in Ski Tip, Tamarack, 1000 Peaks, and Summit. Each unit comes with a gas fireplace, TV, VCR, kitchen, and underground parking.

You can upgrade to four-star gold premium lodging in Panorama Springs or Taynton Lodge. Holiday discount packages for townhomes, premium, and silver level accommodations require a five-night minimum stay. Regular lodging rates run $119 to $469 per night.

All holiday packages also include two adult lift tickets as well as admittance to Panorama Springs Hot Pools. Holiday 15 percent off packages may not be booked online. Instead, call Panorama Reservations at (800) 663-2929.
