The igloo village is in Kitzbuhel's Streiteckmulde ski area, close by the Hahnenkamm mountain which will again host the famous downhill race later this January. The village encompasses an igloo church, a children's igloo, an igloo hotel, a wellness igloo, an igloo bar, shop, restaurant and Village Square, all open to the public. The Igloo hotel is furnished with high-quality isomats and reindeer skins; the polar sleeping bags have a fleece lining so that no one gets cold feet. Up to eight people can sleep in the standard igloo, while the VIP igloo is designed for a twosome. Everyone eats together in the Igloo Restaurant in the evening, sitting around a large table and enjoying fondue. There are no showers, but simple sanitary facilities with washing amenities and toilets. An overnight stop in the eight-person igloo costs € 99 or €145 in the two-person igloo.
