The lake effect snow slows down for a minute in the Northeast, but makes for some very chilly temps. Action continues through the Midwest, with lake effect snow hanging around Lake Michigan. Still dry in the West, with record high temps in the forecast for the Rockies. RC

Northeast

The lake effect snow slows down over the Northeast today, but more action brings light snow back tonight and into tomorrow. More snow on Thursday and Friday, dry and chilly over the weekend. Highs 20's to 40's.

Midwest

Look for a short lived slowdown for lake effect snow in the Midwest for part of the day today, minus parts of Lake Michigan. It jumps back into the forecast again tomorrow and hangs around through the weekend with highs mid 20's to mid 30's.

West

The heat stays on out West with record breaking temps in the forecast for the Rockies and Northern Plains today. Looks like things begin to get back to November normal tomorrow with a storm system moving into the Pac Northwest late Wednesday and moving through the region until Sunday.
