Saint Martin de Belleville has enhanced its facilities for 2008-09, on the slopes and in-resort.

This year skiers will benefit from an extension of the artificial snow network. The Menuires - Saint Martin de Belleville area is being equipped with new snow machines. This means as soon as the season is underway, it will be much easier to ski between the two resorts.

Sevabel also has continued steps towards more environmentally friendly skiing facilities, by fitting two of its chairlifts with waste bins. The first takes the form of a three-metre target underneath the lift's path; the Saint Martin 2 chair lift has been fitted with bins behind the seats.

Refurbishment of the Town Hall and chapels has taken place. The centre now boasts a new, paved square and fountain. The church of Saint Laurent de la Cote and the Chapel of Saint Antoine du Chatelard will have new facades and renovated roofs this winter.

The resort is now home to a two-star restaurant. La Bouitte received its second star in the famous ‘Guide Michelin' in March 2008. The father and son duo command the kitchen with modern interpretations of traditional favourites.

New luxury accommodation also has been developed in Saint Martin de Belleville, comprising various detached three-storey chalets with quality fittings. Some are complete with a private fitness and entertainment area.
