Mt. Bachelor, whose 3,683 acres of rideable terrain make it the sixth largest winter mountain resort in North America, offers more than just being a big old playground.
Much more.
As part of Bachelor's 50th anniversary celebration, the Oregon mega-resort is offering a couple of lift ticket options for skiers and snowboarders who don't get to the hill as often as they would like, but spend more time there than the casual rider.
Bachelor's 5- and 10-day passes, once just offered on a preseason promotional basis, will be available throughout the season. These passes are aimed at riders who plan to spend more than a couple of days at Bachelor, but fewer days than what a season-pass holder would.
Both options come in two flavors: holiday and unrestricted. The five-day passes go for $269 and $319, respectively, while the 10-day passes go for $499 and $599. As a comparison, if a guest were to buy five single-day unrestricted lift tickets he or she would have to shell out up to $335, depending on the days chosen.
You have access to Bachelor's 10 lifts - seven of them express quads - and a cone-shaped mountain that offers 71 runs over 3,365 vertical feet of skiing and snowboarding, once you've purchase a five- or 10-day pass.
