Arizona developer Dean K. Sellers filed an incorporation petition to make the area about 20 minutes Northeast of Deer Valley a town but needed 100 residents under Utah law. Storm Haven residents asked the county to annex them into the Town of Daniel, thus leaving Sellers with no residents and hence no town. On a similar note, residents near Powder Mountain oppose the proposed development for that area and refuse to be forced into "Powderville". The names of the new owners were misstated in our week's report. Western America Holdings (with Mark Arnold and Lee Daniels as the two primaries of the new company) have big plans for Powder, yet rumors abound that once they get permission to rezone, they'll flip the property to who knows what end. Some residents are calling for a low-key boycott of 'Pow Mow'. You can follow along with all the drama at http://ogden-valley.blogspot.com/.
