It's not every year this kind of thing happens, but it looks like some people stepped aside and decided not to purchase a Ski Utah Gold Pass this season. This means for $3,400 you and all of your friends and family have a unique opportunity to ski every day at every resort in Utah.

The fully transferrable season pass from Ski Utah is good at Powder Mountain, Alta, Park City, Solitude, Deer Valley, Brighton, Snowbird, The Canyons, Beaver Mountain, Brian Head, Snowbasin, Sundance, and Wolf Mountain.

Normally, these sweet Gold Passes are snatched up by annual passholders but this season nine just became available. The Gold Pass gives you 40 days at each Utah Resort. "This is a special opportunity for procrastinators to get their hands on Utah's most coveted ski pass," said Ski Utah's Jessica Kunzer. "Usually, the Gold Pass is not available this time of the year."

The Ski Utah Silver Pass is valid for 30 days of skiing at each participating area in Utah for $2,300 but they're sold out for 2008-09.  E-mail Ski Utah at skiinfo@skiutah.com if you would like to be added to the waitlist for next year.
