Waterville Valley Has Ski And Stay Packages

Cruising at Waterville Valley. Cruising at Waterville Valley.

Waterville Valley has come up with many choices of weekend and midweek family getaways through the winter, most with free skiing for the kids, all with some restrictions that on inspection are not onerous.

One joy of staying at Waterville is the self-contained nature of the resort, which has skiing, shops, and lodging all within walking distance.

Laurie Hughes, Waterville Valley Resort Central Reservations Manager, said, "Families love the freedom of walking to Town Square restaurants and shops from their lodge instead of piling the kids back into the car to get a pizza."

The Snowvember/December Kick-off offers two nights' lodging and two days of lift tickets, from $77 per person/night, double occupancy lodging.

The Family Holiday Tree & Ski includes two nights lodging in Waterville Valley, a Saturday or Sunday lift ticket, a horse-drawn wagon ride to pick out a tree at a White Mountains Christmas Tree Farm. Kids 12 and under ski free. Available weekends of Nov. 28-30, Dec. 5-7 and Dec. 12-14, 2008, from $84 per person/weekend, quad occupancy lodging.

Kids Ski Free Packages include two nights lodging in the village of Waterville Valley, two adult Lift tickets for two days, complimentary lift tickets for ages 12 & under and complimentary valet parking on Sunday, and more, from $209 per person, double occupancy for the weekends of Jan. 9-11, Jan. 23-25, and Jan. 30-Feb. 1.

Kids Ski Free deals during NH school vacation week Feb. 22-26, start at $43 per person per night, quadruple occupancy, including at least two adults.

January Midweek Snow Escapes start at $79 per person per night.
