Be The First In St Moritz At Luxurious Carlton Hotel

The Carlton Hotel St Moritz The Carlton Hotel St Moritz

The luxurious newly renovated five-star Carlton Hotel in St. Moritz is offering a two-day "Be the first" package from CHF 2300 (EUR 1438) for two guests in a luxurious Junior Suite between 15 Nov. and 19 Dec. The offer is to emphasize the start of winter sports season in the Swiss Engadin region, where the ski lifts have always opened very early and in advance of all other resorts,

It also includes the extensive breakfast buffet or breakfast service in your suite, as well as two nights' accommodation in one of the 60 spacious suites. In addition, guests are entitled to dinner in each of the hotel's two restaurants.

Head chef Alexander Kroll will serve specialities in the fine dining restaurant Romanoff on one evening; guests will experience casual dining in the Tschinè on the other evening.

One classic whole body massage per person in the exclusive Carlton Spa will provide total relaxation from everyday stress and cares. This jam-packed two-night package also includes a one-day ski pass per person for all the cableways in the Upper Engadine, the in-house butler service, shuttle service to the Corviglia ski station, free Internet access, and mini bar drinks.

The Carlton Hotel, originally built in 1913, was reborn last December as the first luxury boutique hotel in the Alps, 18 months and 60 million Swiss Francs ($50m) after it closed for a complete renovation.

"We are not really in direct competition with the other five-star hotels, we offer a different experience," says manager Christopher Cox.

The differences become self-evident on arrival, with curving interior walls, lavish colour-schemes, and original hotel furniture stylishly refurbished. It's a cool contrast to the traditional exterior and the trademark look of interior designer Carlo Rampazzi.
