Temecula-based SnowJam presents annual pre-winter ski and snowboard expos in Southern California and Southern Nevada, and are about to set up shop in San Diego and Las Vegas.
SnowJam kicks off with its show at the Pat O'Brien Hall at the Del Mar Fairgrounds on Nov. 14-16 where San Diegans can gather to scope out the latest in ski and snowboard hardware and soft goods, check what's happening at resorts both local and far-flung, and/or score some big savings - up to 70 percent - on new equipment and clothing.
Show hours are 4-10 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $15 for attendees 13 and older (you'll also get a restricted midweek lift ticket at Mountain High) and free for those under 13 (sorry, no lift ticket).
SnowJam then moves its expo to the Cashman Field Center in Las Vegas on Nov. 21-23. You get essentially the same show as in San Diego, but your admission price gets you a lift ticket good at Brian Head Resort in southern Utah. Show hours and admission prices are the same as in San Diego.
Order online to save a couple of bucks at either the San Diego or Las Vegas shows.
