Boston Mills/Brandywine, located between Cleveland and Akron in northern Ohio's snow belt, along the south shore of Lake Erie, has been busy during the off-season building new rails and boxes.  It continues the ski area's commitment to expanding its freestyle terrain. 

A new feature that should attract a lot of interest this coming season is the Wall Ride.  A couple of BMBW's Eastern sister resorts supplied them with specifications, and it's been a hit - no pun intended - out there.  The ski area is part of the Peak Resort's stable, which includes five Heartland ski areas, Crotched Mountain in New Hampshire, and Jack Frost and Big Boulder in Pennsylvania. The ski area also has added a new 3,200-square-foot day lodge for its popular Polar Blast Tubing Park.  The tubing area will now be self-contained with the new lodge, which will house a food and beverage area, restroom facilities, ticket windows, and an awesome view of the tubing hill.  No more running back and forth to the main day lodge to warm up and use a bathroom, which was always inconvenient. 

They also upgraded the snowmaking system and painted lifts four and five at the Mills. Brand new chairs should be in place on a couple of the older lifts at Brandywine this season.
