Bryce Entices First-Timers With Package Deal

Bryce has a three-part package for first-time skiers and riders that includes ski or snowboard rental equipment, a one-and-a-quarter-hour group lesson, and a carpet lift/slope use ticket.

This first-time Ski & Snowboard Package is restricted to the beginner area, but can be upgraded to a chairlift ticket for $10 weekdays and $17 weekends after three hours of skiing/snowboarding. The package may be used through night skiing sessions. Participants must be at least 8 years old.

The ski area also has programs for younger children. Kids 4½ to 8 years old may enroll in the SKIwee Program for ski lessons. Also on weekends, the Mini-Rider Program is available for children 6 to 8 years old who would like to learn to snowboard. Register at the Ski School for equipment rentals and for the programs.

Rates for the first-timers package are: midweek and twilight sessions, $62 for adults and $57 for juniors, seniors and military personnel; weekend and holiday sessions, $71 for adults, $62 for juniors and seniors.

Classes are offers weekdays at 10 and 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and on weekends and holidays at 10 and 11 a.m., noon, and 1 and 2 p.m.
