You never can have too much snow, right, powder pigs? So Sierra-at-Tahoe is hosting its annual Pray for Snow Party on the evening of Nov. 13 at Murphy's Irish Pub in South Lake Tahoe in order to induce the gods to comply, .
Revelers will have a chance to participate in a variety of activities, including best ink and frozen T-shirt contests, a mini-skate ramp, and a dual ice luge after the doors open - 6 p.m. for Sierra pass-holders, who also will receive a couple of drink tokens, and 7 p.m. for everyone else
The party's raison d'etre is bringing on heaps of the white stuff this winter, and attendees are invited to perform their best snow ritual (either dancing or singing or yodeling or rapping or some unholy combination of the aforementioned). Give it your best shot.
Celebrity judges - who in the past have included the likes of Todd Offenbacher, Elijah Teter and Joanie and Jamie Anderson - will be on hand to make the call and award prizes, which will include giveaways from Sessions, Flow, SPT, and Sierra-at-Tahoe.
But the best prize of all - and one that everyone would be able to score - would be an outstanding ski and snowboard season.
