The weather is beginning to get a bit chilly, and the people who run the Portland Expo Center hope you get the fever - the Ski Fever, that is.

The latest in the nearly 30-year run of the Portland SkiFever and Snowboard Show, which will be held Nov. 14-16, includes one of the Northwest's largest ski swaps that will feature new and used ski and snowboard clothing and equipment.

You can also save up to 70 percent on the latest ski and snowboard gear from such Portland-area retailers as Novakane, Hillcrest, Next Adventure, US Outdoor, Sublimity,  Signal Sports, Northern Alliance, Zumiez, Gorge Performance, and Exit Real World.

Show goers can also check out the latest information from a variety of winter resorts, which will have representatives manning booths at the expo.

Show hours are 1-10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Admission, which includes an opportunity to score 2-for-1 lift tickets at Mt. Hood Skibowl, Mt. Ashland, Mt. Hood Meadows, Hoodoo, Timberline, Mission Ridge, Big White or Whistler Blackcomb, is $11 adults, $3 for juniors (6-12), and free for kids.

You can also get a $2 reduction in the show's adult admission price by visiting the Portland SkiFever and Snowboard Show Web site, selecting the "coupon" option and filling out a form.
