Speaking of Heroes, the area will be extending a slopeside "thank you" to first responders and active service members this Friday, January 5. If you're in, you're in with the mountain. Present a valid ID and you ski free. Immediate family members receive a $10 lift ticket with proof. Nice thing to do and a good way to say "thanks."
