People who arrive at Snowshoe Dec. 21 to 25, and stay four nights or more, will receive free lodging on Christmas. Act fast if interested, because the offer expires Oct. 31.

Snowshoe says, "Imagine enjoying the holiday period with your family in the festive environment of our alpine village. Best of all, you'll awake on Christmas morning to a little gift from Snowshoe: Free lodging on the evening of Dec. 25."

The value of the offer depends on the size and cost of the room. For two people in a standard room, it's worth $244.25; for two people in a one-bedroom unit, it's worth $301.25; for four people in a two-bedroom unit, it's worth $509.50; for six people in a three-bedroom unit, it's worth $654.75.

Here's the fine print: "Offer based on four or more nights lift ticket and lodging package, with check-in from Dec. 21 to 25. Offer also includes free day of arrival lift tickets. Offer is not available in conjunction with other offers or promotions. Standard 48-hour cancellation policy applies. Above rates does not include reservation processing fee or tax. Savings vary based on unit sizes. Offer subject to availability and expires on Oct. 31."

Snowshoe Mountain, located in Pocahontas County, W.Va., is the largest winter resort in the mid-Atlantic.
