Seven Springs calls the summer projects "the single most aggressive package of new and enhanced amenities in the 75-year history of the resort."

The Terrain Park Crew dusted off the bulldozers and are re-grading the area between Sunset and Lost Boy for an additional terrain park more than half a mile long. The area will be serviced by the North Pole or North Face chairlift. Seven Springs purchased a new snowcat with a winch for grooming both of the area's pipes more often, and to get the walls laser straight with a perfect tranny. The Park Crew has been welding, cutting, grinding, and painting up a ton of steel for rails.

Seven Springs re-graded the Wagner Slope this summer, nearly doubling the amount of terrain there and providing skiers and riders with a continuous straight run entrance, which will ease congestion and make Wagner more manageable for skiers and boarders of all abilities. The snow guns for that area were moved farther out, which will make snowmaking easier and provide a more consistent snow cover. The relocation of the snow guns also allowed the Mountain Crew to create a beginners' glade skiing area on the skiers' left side of Wagner.

Seven Springs is reducing its carbon footprint by installing a new highly efficient all-electric snowmaking compressor system to replace the old compressor that historically consumed nearly 100,000 gallons of diesel fuel. Additional groomers have been added, as well as additional towers, fan jets and higher temperature snow guns.

The Snow Tubing Park will receive another Magic Carpet uphill lift to serve 12 tubing chutes.

The resort also has created the Spa at Seven Springs, a full-service spa next to the Main Lodge Hotel. The hotel has undergone renovation of all 416 rooms. A new heated pool is under construction next to the Bavarian Beach.

The Rental Shop is completely automated so skiers and riders can do the paperwork online before arrival or at kiosks around the resort. The shop offers an entirely new inventory of skis and Burton boards.

E-Tickets and E-Rentals, Burton Learn To Ride programs, and changes to the food offerings complete the list of what's new at Seven Springs for the coming season.
