Registration for Mount Southington's Slope Style Competition begins at 10 a.m. in the Red Barn Cafeteria. Warm-ups are 10 to 11:30 a.m., with competition starting at noon. Entry fee is $15 plus a valid lift ticket or season pass. Helmets are required. Waiver form is available on the Forms Tab of the Web site, mountsouthington.com. Competitors under the age of 18 need parental consent on the waiver. Mount Southington Ski Area, Bob's Chalet and Cutting Edge Snowboard Shop are sponsoring the event.
