Idaho Wildfire Threatens Resort

The resort is using snow-making cannons for hosing down the grassy slopes. The guns won't stop a wildfire, but the potential for embers starting fires in the grass is minimized. Some of the lifts are running to avoid cables getting overheated by hot spots. More than 1,000 people faced mandatory evacuations, and numerous million-dollar homes, as well as several trailer parks, are threatened.
