The show will be held Oct. 24-26 at the newly renovated Wyoming Mall, and is sponsored by Jeep/Chrysler.
Fred Zedeck's three Pennsylvania Ski & Snowboard Expos are all small, all based in malls, and all free.
They offer skiers and riders a look at ski and snowboarding equipment and area resorts, and the first opportunity to savor the season ahead.
"The consumer who comes is looking for information, and looking for a good deal on equipment," Zedeck said.
"Plus it's free, and at a mall, so pop and the kids can go to the show and look around, and mom goes shopping. It's a nice afternoon, takes a couple of hours depending on what you do at the show," he said.
The National Ski & Snowboard Expo in Philadelphia, Oct. 31 to Nov. 2 at the Plymouth Meeting Mall finishes the run of Pennsylvania expos. The mall, located in Philadelphia's Main Line suburbs, has just undergone a million-dollar renovation.
The Philadelphia show is sponsored by the Eastern Pennsylvania Ski Council, a coalition of 36 member clubs, as well as Jeep/Chrysler.
The Philadelphia show features a ski and snowboard swap, in addition to equipment, resorts and cars.
Zedeck's traveling road show leaves Pennsylvania for the nation's capital, combining Nov. 7-9 with the Northern Virginia/DC Travel Show.
