Whiteface's new trail is east of the Slides, to the right as you look uphill. Construction crews have been busy all summer, clearing the trail, pouring foundations, setting the towers for the lift, and installing snowmaking.

Best news, it's just the beginning of an expansion that in coming years will include three expert runs, one long intermediate cruiser, snowmaking, more glades, and the triple.

Vertical drop will be 2,200 feet.

The intermediate trail will connect skiers and riders to Kids Kampus and the main lodge. Guests will be able to access the lift from the beginning of the flats on Easy Street.
