Credit Due At Durango

Durango Mountain Resort will give you credits to stay there. Durango Mountain Resort will give you credits to stay there.

Durango Mountain Resort is busily gussying up the place with a 20-year, $100 million master plan.

It’s still a work in progress, but there’s still plenty to see and do at the southwestern Colorado resort once known as Purgatory.

Durango is even offering to pay you to check out the goods as a further enticement.

Under the resort’s “It Pays to Travel Plan,” guests who book their winter holiday by Nov. 27 will receive a 10 percent travel credit on their vacation. The credit can be used to buy gas, upgrade rental gear, or splurge on a great meal at the new Purgy's Day Lodge.

The promotion requires a minimum of a two-night stay at any Durango Mountain Resort property and isn’t valid during holiday periods.

Another good deal at Durango is their Kids Ski Free promotion. This package makes it easy on families’ pocket books with four nights lodging, four days of lift tickets for mom and dad and kids for as little as $225 per family per night.

Resort properties for most packages include units from studios to luxury vacation homes in slopeside Purgatory Village, Cascade Village a mile north of the lifts or the Lodge at Tamarron.

Call (800) 982-6102 for further information or to take advantage of the package.
