The Swiss ski resort of St Moritz adds ‘Leading Spa of The World' to its list of accolades.

Two-time host of the Olympic Winter Games, St Moritz is now making a name for itself as a luxury spa resort.

Just nine months after opening, the Carlton Spa at the Carlton Hotel in St Moritz has been declared a Leading Spa of the World. In August 2008 the Carlton Spa was recognised for its outstanding spa facilities, treatments and services.

The Carlton Spa now sits alongside just 105 others in the world. The Leading Spas of the World is global certification program for the spa industry and represents some of the world's finest luxury spas.

The 1,200-square-metre spa is spread over three floors and offers panoramic views of the surrounding alpine scenery. Ultimate relaxation at the Carlton Spa features six treatments rooms, heated indoor and outdoor pools, Finnish saunas and steam baths.

Between September and December 2008, guests staying three nights or more at the Carlton Hotel will also enjoy a 50 per cent price reduction. Visit Carlton Hotel's Web site for spa pricing and information.
