The area has been teased with two to three inches of snow as Western storms push east and collide with warm air in the south. Days have been a little warm but it's still cool enough at night to make snow and they're shooting for a Nov. 22 opening. Snowmaking is being focused on seven trails in the basin: Skidder, Cross Cut, Spruce Glades, Gandy, Heisler, Lower Whistlepunk and Powder Monkey.
