Resorts in this article: Perfect North Slopes

For a Cincinnati skier or rider who wants to play hooky for a day, their best bet is nearby Perfect North located in southeastern Indiana. Less than an hour away, it's as close to a northern feel as you'll find this far south. It boasts a respectable – for the Heartland – 400-foot vertical and a nice variety of terrain. You'll play on fly-on-the-wall steeps and mile-long boulevards, two terrain parks and even a few glades. It's all serviced by five chairlifts and six surface tows, and also boasts a huge tubing operation. Many Midwest big city skiers and riders don't have that kind of choice; especially so close to the Mason-Dixon Line.
