New Snow on the Way?

Nothing. Not even a drop this morning. The forecasters said it was coming in early this morning but we have blue skies and a few hovering grey clouds. Now they say before 10 am. A big blob off to the west promises one to three feet of new snow. Enough to cover the mess we've been skiing for the past two weeks. We've been stuck in the spring-thaw cycle. Freezing at night, bullet-proof till 11, mush after 2. I've forgotten what winter snow feels like. If it gets here, I'll hop over to Alta. Lately, I've spent my days at PCMR. It's holding up and the Northeast facing slopes are soft and creamy before noon.
Today, some friends called me and want to ski Deer Valley. I look forward to lunch! The food just doesn't ocmpare at PCMR. And I miss the desserts. PCMR has candy and cookies. DV has carrot cake, lemon squares, chocolate cream pie. You get the idea. Must run. Will check back if the storm develops!
